I pump 5-7 times per day. The openings hold the flanges in place so it is truly hands free. The system fits over my nursing bra; a must as I will be going back to work and wanted to avoid taking a bra on and off. I wear my normal nursing bras throughout the day, then when I have to pump I pull the cups down and this support goes over my bra. Once I'm done pumping the pumpease comes off, goes back into the bag and I'm back in my normal bra. What I don't like about some of the other hands free bras is that they are big and bulky. I can't wear them under normal t shirts or basically anything besides a thick sweater or sweatshirt - not appropriate for my job. With the pumpease I can wear whichever bra I need to, this easily goes on and comes off for whenever I need it. I would recommend that you order a size smaller than you think though. I got the medium and I wear a bra size 36C, although I think I'm a little smaller now that I've been nursing for so long.
